The Council are currently removing tombstones from an old cemetery with the aim to landscape the land and open it to the public as a recreational area. Personally, I disagree with the dead being disturbed but with work ongoing and previously locked gates now left open it does give a nice area to walk the dog in.There was I over in this disused cemetery at twilight late last night (and standing up to my knees in grass in a feebly illuminated area) leaning on a tombstone and surveying the view of the work in progress while Raki romped about – when, without warning I heard a rich baritone voice inches from my ear say slowly “hellooo?”
Turned out to be my near neighbour walking his dog who was being just as nosey as me. He said he had never ever before in his life seen anyone levitate quite so high from a stationary position as I did.

I have to admit that it made my bowels move a bit.
Strange days we live in.
